This restaurant is located at Lindale Farm, Paraparaumu. It’s on the way up north of Wellington, probably about 45 minutes away from the city centre. So if you do visit Lindale Farm for the animals and Kapiti Ice Cream, then I don’t think you should missed out this restaurant! It’s worth the try!

HOWEVER THOUGH.. this is SERIOUSLY like a 2 years BELATED POST!!!! And I just FOUND OUT that Paul’s Restaurant is no longer in business…. smudge!!!!! WHat a shame… anyway, here’s some pictures of what we’ve eaten in the past.

Ingredient:
1/2 Pound – spinach, chopped
1 small – onion, finely chopped, salt & pepper to taste
1 tablespoon – lemon juice
6 sheets – phyllo pastry
1/4 cup – clarified butter

Preparation Method:
1. Sprinkle some salt on to the spinach and rub it in with your finger till it wilts slightly
2. Put the salt and pepper into the onions and again rub in to soften a little then add to the spinach
3. Add the olive oil, lemon juice, sumac and pine nuts and feta (if using) to the spinach mixture and mix in thoroughly – set aside
4. Take one sheet of phyllo, brush with melted butter. Repeat with two more layers
5. Cut into eight strips about 2″wide. About an inch from the bottom, place a heaped teaspoon of spinach mixture (squeezing out the water)
6. Fold corner over filling to form a triangle – continue folding upwards keeping the triangle shape as if folding a flag. Brush the top with butter. Repeat these last 3 steps to make up the rest of the triangles.
7. Preheat oven to 350F/180C and bake till golden about 10-15 minutes

D’orangee’s is a car wash place cum cafe style onsite… it’s quite a nice cosy little cafe. They do serve reasonably nice food there too! :)

Usually friends would gather there for a chat or perhaps just to be there to get a carwash, while enjoying the Free WIFI and get a little work stuffs done, while awaiting for your car to be ready.

The first time when I went to D’Orangee, I kinda got a little lost, cause the shop is visible from the roadside, however the cafe just didn’t have a big enough signage. You can see it clearly from the other side on the road, however, as and when you’re looking for the signage following the road towards SMK Green Road, with Shell station on your right… You should be able to see D’Orangee on your left hand side, situated right at the junction before the Junction of the traffic light.

It took me awhile to remember though.

Anyway, I’ve only been there twice… this is my second time.

Here’s some recommendation for the food. I personally do love their Belacan Fried Rice, Potato Salad and Chocolate Oreo Crush or something…
I can’t remember the name for this drink, but it’s got something to do with Oreo and Coffee as well

Milo Dinosaur

This is not bad, could have been richer in chocolate/cocoa powder and milkier on the inside….. *did my sentence just sounded weird?* trallaaaa.. anyway, u know what i mean…….

Earlier in the afternoon, I was talking to one of my colleague… so he was telling me all about some Korean food and introducing me to more! we got carried away talking about food and Korea…. so I was pretty much soaked into the “korean” thingy….

Immediately that evening after work, I insisted to go for Korean food! hahaha blame my colleague, don’t blame my greedy craving! kakakaka just kidding.

Anyway I wanted to have some stew or soup thingy… DOn’t ask me why. I probably have some weird cravings lately. I remembered Seoul Garden do have nice stew and delicious soup…

So it’s all set! Let’s check out some of the pictures!

Always starting with the beverages. Here you go….
I’m not sure if it was the cook’s problem cause the day when I was there, the laksa wasn’t good at all. There were 7 of us and still everyone said it’s not nice. I wonder why?! If only one person out of 7 that said it’s not nice, maybe that person has very unique taste, but it’s 7 out of 7 that voted out… so what have i got to say? Picture will speak it all too!
